Ravens are using Warriors’ halftime strategy, and it’s working magically

No lead at halftime is safe against the Warriors. The same now can be said for the Ravens

Baltimore leads the NFL in second-half points going into Sunday’s slate of Week 5 games, and it could be all thanks to the defending NBA champions.

“During the offseason, the Ravens studied the Golden State Warriors just to see how Steve Kerr and his staff approach things at halftime,” Ian Rapoport explained Sunday morning on the NFL Network.

When the Ravens hit the locker room at halftime, John Harbaugh’s squad completely mimics Kerr’s Warriors.

“Here’s what the Ravens do, basically the same thing as the Warriors do in something like a pit crew,” Rapoport said. “It’s basically four minutes with the staff, and then they gather players together to give them three or four bullet points, not a lot.

“Then they open it up to some veteran players.”

In other words, Joe Flacco is elite.
